Logically, the Beginning of the Reporting of COVID-19 Made No Sense.

I was watching NBC Nightly News when I first heard about COVID-19. They mentioned Coronavirus and a few deaths. But what struck me was the minimum deaths relative to other virus’, cancer and heart disease, yet devoted ten minutes on it.
The next night, same thing, but devoted 15 of their precious 30 minutes to it. Still, minimum deaths compared to other virus’, cancer and heart disease.
The next night, same thing, now 20 minutes. Then the panic started as media after media started using their prime time to do so.
And the race began to the medical centers.
When something like this starts, when to me it logically does not make sense, I start to question it. How is it 300,000 to 650,000 died of flu-related symptoms in 2019, yet there was/is such media attention for what originally was less than 1,000 COVID-19 deaths, worldwide.
There is no logical response so more questions arose.
How is it there is such panic among the people of COVID-19 for approximately 20,000 deaths 4 months later, when still more die from influenza-related deaths?
How is it we are given “so-called” accurate data of 3% to 5% are dying from COVID-19-related causes when only 5 of every 1 million people are tested out of 8 billion people? There are tens of thousands walking around with mild forms of COVID-19, no different than walking around with mild forms of the flu. The death rate would be .01% or .001% if everyone who has it were counted.
How is it that people really believe this WILL BE OVER in 1-3 months and not spread again once everything opens up again? A virus just doesn’t disappear.
So why the reckless reaction of a complete economic shutdown?
My belief and sensitivity that this is an extremely dangerous virus only goes so far as common sense dictates and allows. And no common sense answers were returned in my questions.
Now we have martial law (actually, worse, executive order.) Not one bullet shot, not one soldier in formation. It wasn’t mandated by war or uprising, but by the most dangerous emotions of all, fear.
Owners can be arrested if they open up for business, people can be arrested for walking on the beach or in a park.
With such questions and no logical answer in return, it usually means there is an agenda behind it, just like the bank bailouts were in 2008. The banks received government loans, the banks raked in their Private Mortgage Insurance money (PMI), yet millions of Americans were still forced into foreclosure. Hell, foreclosure courts were created in counties across the nation to handle the volume.
The loan modification program mandated by the federal government? The watch-dog put in place to oversee the modification applications and “approved or denied?” The banks. 95% of all modifications were denied, sending millions of homes to auction.
A majority of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, they don’t have a job to work at home, they don’t have a social security or retirement check coming in, or living off an inheritance.
A financial backlash will come.
I’m sensitive to the fact millions of people and families will be in financial crisis.
Yet who do they then turn to for their salvation? The government, the one and same that shut them all down.
And a majority of the masses bought it hook, line and sinker.
It won’t be good when the piper calls and when the financial piper calls, this virus, still existing, will be far from the concerns of the middle and lower class concerns and problems.
The question at that point is, who gained and profited from such a worldwide panic?
Once the deed is done, and the people have suffered, that’s usually when our questions are answered and we find out, but it’s too late – that fundamental right of Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness we held dear for so long disappeared.
