What happened to America? When news decades ago began to report on agenda, rather than the news, report on opinion, rather than fact, the slippery spiral began.
Independent Lens reports that, “The trend of media conglomeration has been steady. In 1983, 50 corporations controlled most of the American media, including magazines, books, music, news feeds, newspapers, movies, radio and television. By 1992 that number had dropped by half. By 2000, six corporations had ownership of most media, and today five dominate the industry: Time Warner, Disney, Murdoch’s News Corporation, Bertelsmann of Germany and Viacom. With markets branching rapidly into international territories, these few companies are increasingly responsible for deciding what information is shared around the world.”
Five corporations now control 90% of the media now. That’s easily, a small-sized meeting of five CEO’s in a conference room.
So it comes as no surprise when a script appears repeatedly in news stations across the country. “Stay at Home,” or, “Extremely dangerous to our democracy.” Who is “Extremely dangerous to our democracy?”
Anyone who questions COVID-19 being used as an agenda.
When we question what really is going on, that becomes “Extremely dangerous to our democracy”? When we can’t question it? It is now frightening that there can only be one thought. And more that the media stations around the country have THE SAME SCRIPT.
What is extremely disturbing is that any ‘thought’, other than the propaganda put forth by media, is “extremely dangerous.” Not only that, why is there such a great concern by the media over anyone raising the idea that using COVID-19 as an agenda?
Maybe, just maybe, because the ones that wrote the script know it is.
